A Tribute event was organised at West Goalpara College on 22/5/2024 in memory of late Padmashree Dr Birubala Rabha by Women Cell in association with the department of Assamese and History.

 A Tribute event was organised at West Goalpara College on 22/5/2024 in memory of late Padmashree Dr Birubala Rabha by Women Cell in association with the department of Assamese and History. The event was attended by Prof Abul Kashem Pramanik, Academic Co ordinator and I/C, Dr. Mira Devi, retd. Professor, Lakhipur college,Prof. Bipul Chakraborty, President,ACTA,and teaching and non teaching staff along with a host of students.The life and works of Padmashree Dr Birubala Rabha was discussed in the function. Moreover,a book published by the department of Assamese was inaugurated by Dr Subhash Barman, Principal i/c and Dr Siddhi Nath Sharma, President,GB, West Goalpara College.The speakers on the dias applauded the the department of Assamese for their noble cause of publishing the book in consonance with the Tribute event.
